P25: Integrated Global Project Management of Industrialization Projects (IGPM)

 

Já conhece o trabalho inovador realizado pela equipa multidisciplinar do P25?

O IGPM pretende contribuir para a melhoria do desempenho da unidade MFE1 da Bosch em Braga, através do desenvolvimento de uma metodologia integrada e global para a gestão de projetos de industrialização: a MIP - Management of Industrialization Projects. A MIP será suportada por um sistema de informação designado de POWER (que garante a interoperabilidade de diferentes sistemas informáticos necessários ao processo de gestão) e pelo reforço na gestão da comunicação ao longo do processo; com o intuito de tornar a unidade mais competitiva na captação de novos projetos e mais eficiente na execução dos projetos em curso.

 

No P25 procura-se: 

Aliar três áreas cientificas distintas

O Projeto 25 une as competências da Bosch à capacidade de inovar da Universidade do Minho, não apenas nas suas áreas de conhecimento mais tradicionais: à engenharia industrial e de sistemas, juntam-se os campos de investigação dos sistemas de informação e das ciências da comunicação. A inovação na gestão de projetos passa não só pela sua maior adequação técnica, suportada em sistemas de informação mais eficazes, mas conta ainda com o contributo da equipa de comunicação, pela integração de funcionalidades de social project management na gestão de projetos, bem como pela análise dos problemas de comunicação existentes para os quais é mais complexo encontrar soluções. 

 

Novas práticas de gestão de projetos

A unidade MFE1 pretende alcançar o reconhecimento como unidade líder no estabelecimento e definição de novas práticas de gestão integrada de projetos de industrialização e de fornecimento de tecnologias informáticas de suporte à gestão de projetos de industrialização em toda a divisão Bosch Car Multimedia.

Madalena Araújo (nmaraujo@dps.uminho.pt) Full Professor of Industrial and Technology Management at Minho University – Portugal; a member of the Production and Systems Department at the School of Engineering; is a Chemical Engineer and holds M.Sc. in Industrial Management and Ph.D. in Production Engineering, both from Birmingham University - U.K.; is leader of the Industrial Engineering and Management Research Line of ALGORITMI Research Centre; research interests are on Economics of Engineering Systems and Management, mainly Decision and Utility Modelling, Project Evaluation and Management, Risk Analysis and their applications; authored and coauthored around one hundred papers and supervised few dozen M.Sc. dissertations and Ph.D. theses; is a member of the research project igMIP - Integrated and Global Management of Industrialization Projects, a partnership between the University of Minho and Bosch Car Multimedia (began in 2016).

João Faria (joao.faria@pt.bosch.com) Head of the Project Management Office for Manufacturing Projects in the Manufacturing International Department at Bosch Car Multimedia - Portugal; lectures project management as an invited Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave; has a PhD thesis in Project Management; a post-graduation in Informatics; and a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications; is a project manager for more than 20 years in the fields of software development, building engineering and industrialization projects; and a member of the research project igMIP - Integrated and Global Management of Industrialization Projects, a partnership between the University of Minho and Bosch Car Multimedia

 

Ricardo J. Machado  (rmac@dsi.uminho.pt) is a full professor of Information Systems Engineering and Technology in the Dept. of Information Systems at the University of Minho (UMinho), School of Engineering. His primary research interests are in modelling and requirements for systems analysis and design and in process and project management life-cycles. He is the director of the ALGORITMI Research Centre, the scientific coordinator of the EPMQ Laboratory at the CCG/ZGDV Institute, the director of the Doctoral Program in Advanced Engineering Systems for Industry, and member of the Board of the UM-Cities Platform. He is also president of the National Council of the Informatics Engineering Society at the Portuguese Engineers Association, chairman of the General Assembly of the ICT Portuguese Cluster (TICE.pt), member of the Board of the Cluster Smart Cities Portugal, member of the General Assembly of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP), member of both the Board and the Steering Committee of the NESSI (Networked European Software and Services Initiative) European Technological Platform (ETP), member of the Steering Committee of the international conference series on Software Business (ICSOB) - Springer, and member of the Editorial Board of the Brazilian Journal of Information Systems (Brazilian Computer Society).

 Teresa Ruão (truao@ics.uminho.pt) is an Associate Professor in the Communication Sciences Department at the University of Minho - Portugal; vice-president of the Social Sciences Institute; member of the Communication and Society Research Centre (CECS – UMinho); has a PhD thesis in Communication Sciences (Ruão, 2008); researches on Organizational and Strategic Communication; teaches Organizational Communication and Public Relations; is member of the Portuguese Communication Sciences Association (SOPCOM) and a board member of its Organizational Communication Work Group; is a member of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA ); and a member of the research project igMIP - Integrated and Global Management of Industrialization Projects, a partnership between the University of Minho and Bosch Car Multimedia (began in 2016).
